2009 Week 16 - Top 10 Sneaky Picks

Back to Rankings   -   Print

1.      Matt Hasselbeck - Seahawks
home vs. Bucs: The Bucs are a mess and Hass should be able shred them with or without Nate Burleson.

2.      Beanie Wells - Cardinals
@ Lions: Matchup based start here. There is an element of risk here that his carries may be limited based on game circumstances, but he has been getting the greater share of carries as of late.

3.      Fred Davis - Redskins
home vs. Giants: The Giants have been poor vs. opposing TE\'s. Oh wait, they have be poor vs all opposing receivers as well. A great matchup here.

4.      Reggie Bush - Saints
home vs. Cowboys (Sat): With Mike Bell out, Bush is a decent play.

5.      Chris Jennings - Browns
@ Chiefs: Great matchup however the RB carousel can be very annoying. Jennings played well vs. the Steelers so hopefully we get to see some more of what he\'s got.

6.      Laurence Maroney - Patriots
@ Bills: Running hard and the Pats are trying to take to the ground more lately, and they will do the same vs. a good Bills pass D.

7.      Steve Breaston - Cardinals
@ Lions: While Larry Fitz will probably play, he may not be 100%. That will mean more looks for the Breast. Very sneaky.

8.      Bo Scaife - Titans
home vs. Dolphins: The Dolphins have been friendly to opposing tight ends this year and Scaife could see some action, PPR style.

9.      Matt Cassel - Chiefs
home vs. Browns: Cassel gets his best weapon back (Dwayne Bowe) and Jamaal Charles is running hard. Start him if you are in a QB bind.

10.      Arian Foster - Texans
@ Rams: It sounds like Kubiak is a fan of Arian Nation. He wants to see what the kid has got and ideally we would like to give it a game to see exactly how he is used, but if you need to, run with him as a FLEX play.
