Dynasty Rankings Update: RB
The top of the running back mountain is in flux. Two seasons ago it was Chris Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Maurice Jones-Drew and then everyone else. In 2010, Arian Foster crashed the party and has continued to march up the list this season, stopping at the top. He has some serious competition from LeSean McCoy and Ray Rice, as well as a potential bounceback in CJ and a potential breakout in Ryan Mathews. Let's take a look at the movement in our rankings as we get ready for the offseason.

Week 14 Preview: Playoff Time
It only took 13 weeks but it seems Chris Johnson is back...congratulations to owners who stuck with him through the agonizing 3 months. On the other hand sorry for Matt Forte owners and Bears fans everywhere after losing their starting QB and BEAST RB, it now looks like the Bears will be fighting really hard just to make the playoffs. The Packers are still undefeated and Aaron Rodgers shows no sign of letting up. There is a lot more drama going on this week in the NFL so lets go and take a deeper look into each matchup.

Heading into the season's last quarter, there is still plenty of drama to play itself out, but in the NFL and in fantasy. Week 13 Preview: The Stretch Run
Gearing up for the playoffs means Week 13 is a big week for most fantasy owners out there. With a number of injuries still plaguing some of the league's best players there are a lot of hidden gems to look out for this week. Victor Cruz is now a BEAST and a top 5 WR at this point of the season. Jay Cutler is not returning this season but Johnny Knox value has come on strong, being targeted 10 times by backup QB Caleb Hanie and has 7 catches and over 200 yards the last two weeks with a pair of TD's. After 9 weeks the Packers are still undefeated with no signs of slowing down, the Colts are winless and are currently in the lead for Andrew Luck. Roy Helu shined in his first start by catching a Redskin record 14 passes last week for over 100 yards, strengthening his Dynasty value in the process. There are no teams on bye this week so we are back into full action with a number of big matchups including Patriots-Jets, Giants-49ers, Saints-Falcons and more. We are almost half way through the season and that means it's time to get ready for your fantasy playoff push. Week 7 Reactions: Nagging Injuries
Week 7 brought the pain with numerous injuries, with varying degrees of severity. Most seemed to be at the running back position, so it's definitely important to keep an eye on the waiver wire for a potential bye week fill-in. It's also almost midseason and trade deadlines are approaching in the next month, so it's time to start looking at Dynasty buy lows whether you are competing or not. It is quite clear Peyton Manning is not coming back this season, and more injuries seem to be mounting up. Top Playmakers in the NFL
A Playmaker can be defined in many ways. For the purpose of this article, we chose to look at some players that do the most with limited touches. Two and a half years ago, Arkansas junior Darren McFadden was the lead RB prospect heading into the NFL Draft, ahead of other potential Beasts such as Jonathan Stewart, Chris Johnson and Felix Jones. Not only was this RB Class rich with top end prospects, but it was deep with talent. Week 4. We are at the one-quarter mark on the fantasy season, and some serious developments have already occured. With the year that Chris Johnson put up, many casual fantasy leaguers feel that he is the no brainer for the number 1 overall pick in re-draft and also Dynasty leagues. Certainly, no one would question the selection, but Adrian Peterson and Maurice Jones-Drew make a strong case for that pick as well. BeastOrBust was asked to participate in a 12-Team Experts Mock Draft hosted by Steven Lourie of the Football Fan Spot. This is a 12-Team, 16 Round Mock Draft under the following assumptions: Standard Scoring, Non-PPR and 6 Points for a TD. A nice feature of this mock was for each participant to provide a comment on their draft strategy with each pick. Some odd games in Week 6. Tom Brady throws 5 Touchdowns in the 2nd quarter of a 59-0 routing of the Titans. He likely won your fantasy matchup this week despite how your other players fared.
