Welcome to BeastOrBust.com.  We are a Fantasy Football Website devoted entirely to the strategy of Dynasty.

With NFL Training Camps upon us, we are working on fresh content that will be hitting the site soon. Look for our new article, Dynasty Hype, to premiere this week along with another Strategy Session. You will also find all of our NFL Draft coverage archived for your convenience under the Draft tab.

Welcome to BeastOrBust.com.  We are a Fantasy Football Website devoted entirely to the game of Dynasty.

We are in the process of updating our Dynasty Rankings to reflect-include this year's Rookies and offseason action.  When evaluating our Dynasty Rankings, please keep in mind we value youth and upside heavily at BeastOrBust.com.  You should as well.

Check out our Player Search Feature.  A search results yields every article that player has been mentioned on the BeastOrBust.com website.  A very useful tool when researching a specific player.  Additionally, if we have written a Player Profile for that individual, that will show up as well.  We will be updating our Player Database soon, so check back often.

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us.  We are always looking to improve the Beast, so your suggestions are welcomed.

Brandon Marshall Hip Surgery...

...considered minor by Dolphin team officials.  This is Marshall's 2nd hip surgery in as many seasons.  While this news isn't worth getting too worked up over, Dynasty owners should monitor this situation closely.  A top-3 talent  that has posted 3 straight 100+ reception seasons, Marshall has found a situation to move him into the absolute elite at his position.  While it is moderately concerning that a player of Marshall's age and talent level is having recurring issues - to a detrimental body part like the hip -, Marshall is still a Beast and gets a bump in value with Chad Henne at the QB and a supportive Dolphins staff led by Bill Parcells, Tony Sporano and Dan Henning.
 

Jamarcus Russell...

...Released by the Raiders.  Not suprising at all.  Raiders fans and Fantasy Owners rejoice.  We love the addition of Jason Campbell who will finally add stability to the high upside (but far from proven) offensive unit in Oakland.  Take the opportunity to land the likes of WR's Chaz Schilens, Louis Murphy, DHB or even rookie Jacoby Ford - they can all be had for cheap.  Campbell will love the playmaking ability of emerging stud TE Zach Miller.  Even Darren McFadden and Michael Bush will find some holes to rush between with a passing game that will open up the run.  Al Davis has built the fastest football team on the planet, and it should show in 2010 with some legitimate fantasy production from the Raiders.

Upcoming BeastOrBust.com Content

Over the next week we plan to roll out our 2010 Dynasty Rookie Player Profiles for the Running Back, Wide Receiver and Tight End positions.  The NFL Draft is approaching quickly, which means your Dynasty Rookie Draft should be following shortly thereafter.  Be sure to check back frequently.  

As NFL Draft Day approaches - and we continually learn more about our favorite prospects - look for our 2010 Dynasty Rookie Rankings to be always developing.

Much of the success of any rookie can be largely attributed to the situation they are drafted into.  About a week before Draft Day, look for our annual pre-draft Needs Not Wants article where we will outline the existing condition of each NFL team and those positions that will breed fantasy success.

Some general information to keep you fired up for the Dynasty Fantasy Football Offseason:

We have recently added an exciting Player Search feature.  Search results provide you with a detailed Player Profile (if available) and a link to every BeastOrBust.com article where that player is mentioned.  We will be continually adding new Player Profiles, however we are also in the process of updating existing player profiles, so please be patient.  As always, our goal is to help provide insight into a players immediate and long term Dynasty value.  Our latest/newest profiles attempt to focus on players who's value may not be entirely established, in an effort to give you and early edge toward domination.  If there is a player you are looking for more information, we are more than happy to provide a Player Profile upon request. 

We are excited to Dig Deep into the upcoming NFL Draft Season.  While the QB class seems to be a work in progress, we are definitely going to find some gems that will help your Dynasty team dominate in 2010.  Rookie Drafts are an important component toward Dynasty Success.  Don't slack in the offseason. 

What looks to be an Uncapped 2010 NFL Season, will likely have a small impact on the fantasy world.  With established Free Agent rules in place for an uncapped season, you can expect little NFL Free Agent activity, however a big move is always possible...wait and see.  Lets keep our fingers crossed that an agreement can be made over the next year.  Nobody wants a lockout.

Bears add Mike Martz as Offensive Coordinator

And with that goes the opportunity to buy low on Jay Cutler in your Dynasty League. Martz' offensive scheme will take advantage of Cutler's big downfield arm and should help pad his fantasy stats. This is great news for Chicago wideouts - watch closely this summer to see who emerges from the group of Devin Hester, Devin Aromashodu, Earl Bennett and Johnny Knox. This will also keep Matt Forte heavily involved in the passing game. Greg Olsen's value takes a hit here as Martz has never utilized tight ends in the passing game.
