Dynasty Wide Receiver Rankings

Back to Rankings   -   Print

1.      Calvin Johnson - Lions
Megatrons upside beats anyone on this list and that is showing in 2011.

2.      Larry Fitzgerald - Cardinals
A consistent Beast, even with the Cardinals inconsistent QB play.

3.      A.J. Green (R) - Bengals
Elite talent that is showing it all in rookie season.

4.      Hakeem Nicks - Giants
Big time playmaker with a nose for the end zone. Nagging injuries can be frustrating. 100+ reception potential.

5.      Dez Bryant - Cowboys
Huge talent in a great situation. May take a season to develop into a reliable threat, but he will.

6.      Julio Jones (R) - Falcons
Could there be a better landing spot for this more physical version of Roddy White?

7.      Mike Wallace - Steelers
Playmaker in the mold of DeSean Jackson. Or is DJax in the mold of Wallace? Wallace is the more complete player.

8.      Roddy White - Falcons
Big time target for Matty Ice. Consistency makes him elite, starting to age however, but not a lot of tread on his tires.

9.      Jeremy Maclin - Eagles
Redzone and PPR asset that could be an elite receiving option in time.

10.      Greg Jennings - Packers
An extremely consistent option on a Dynasty roster. Posts as many 100 yard games as any other WR in the game. Plays in a distribution offense though.

11.      Brandon Marshall - Dolphins
Can you handle the drama? You should, because he is worth every second of the hassle.

12.      Miles Austin - Cowboys
Miles Austin is a legit Beastly talent. Starting opposite Dez Bryant hurts his value some, but he'll still get his.

13.      Dwayne Bowe - Chiefs
Not elite despite his 2010 performance. A solid player however that could benefit from a supporting cast at the WR position.

14.      Percy Harvin - Vikings
What we have seen to date only scratches the surface of his upside. Needs to put the injuries behind him, but his fantasy potential is a headache for opponents.

15.      Andre Johnson- Texans
A big time player with multiple Beastly seasons still in him, however his age has him sliding some in our rankings.

16.      Jordy Nelson - Packers
Has emerged as a very valuable fantasy commodity in time. With all of Aaron's weapons, though, he might have consistency issues.

17.      Steve Johnson - Bills
A solid WR2/3. That is it. We like his skill set.

18.      Mike Williams - Bucs.
Big time future on a Bucs squad that is going to emerge in a big way. Buy now. Elite potential with Freeman throwing him the rock. One more season of solid stats and he will climb this list rapidly.

19.      DeSean Jackson - Eagles
The most explosive player in the NFL. Can be inconsistent, but the big time fantasy games outweigh the occasional poor performance. Is he afraid to go over the middle?

20.      Vincent Jackson - Chargers
A physical specimen that has likely reached his ceiling. His inconsistent play is the only concern here but his situation is fantasy gold.

21.      Victor Cruz - Giants
Making plays and making a name for himself this season. Do you need to see it again to believe it?

22.      Kenny Britt - Titans
Flashed elite upside, but ACL and MCL tear means you'll have to wait until next year.

23.      Santonio Holmes - Jets
Dynasty value remains strong as he has clearly become Mark Sanchez's favorite receiving option.

24.      Antonio Brown - Steelers
Massively fast deep threat that will continue to carve out a legit role by 2012.

25.      Greg Little (R) - Browns
A work in progress, but his upside cannot be denied. Physical specimen that is a former basketball player and running back. Quite the combination for a run after the catch prospect.

26.      Jonathan Baldwin (R) - Chiefs
A big time talent with some character concerns. Todd Haley with point him in the right direction and he can play his way into the primary WR role in KC in the next 2 seasons.

27.      Marques Colston - Saints
A TD machine when he is on the field. Inconsistency and Injury keeps him from elite status however and he may already be in a steady decline.

28.      Torrey Smith (R) - Ravens
Deep threat. A player we really like, but fear he may be too Nate Washington for the fantasy playoffs.

29.      Michael Crabtree - 49ers
Has the ability and upside, but needs to translate that to production. Breakout coming shortly to a stadium near you. Harbaugh loves his skill set in the short passing game.

30.      Denarius Moore - Raiders (R)
The Raiders drafted him because he is the fastest player in the planet. Well, second fastest behind DHB, Louis Murphy, Darren McFadden, Taiwan Jones and Jacoby Ford. Join the club Denarius.

31.      Pierre Garcon - Colts
Has a unique skill set in Indy's offense which will keep him productive. Not elite however but if he ever breaks out, this will be the year.

32.      Wes Welker - Patriots
Finished as a Top 3 WR in 2011. PPR dream.

33.      Randall Cobb (R) - Packers
In a great situation behind an aging Donald Driver and FA James Jones. Fills an role that currently doesn't exist in the Packers offense. Watch him climb this list over the next 3 seasons.

34.      Darrius Heyward-Bey - Oakland
You can't teach speed. If he learns to catch the ball consistently, he'll be a weapon. Prematurely given the Bust label by some.

35.      Demaryius Thomas - Broncos
Injury-filled rookie season reached a climax this February when he ruptured his Achilles. Has rebounded nicely and still offers long term Beast upside.

36.      Arrelious Benn - Bucs.
Late season ACL tear is a huge blow to his late season development in 2010. Still solid upside for those willing to be patient.

37.      Titus Young - Lions (R)
Explosive rookie that could be long term No. 2 in Detroit. Is he more than a deep threat?

38.      Mario Manningham - Giants
Climbing up this list, however his is not as talented as Hakeem Nicks. Needs to work on route running.

39.      Eric Decker - Broncos
Catches everything. Just needs to get healthy to have a shot.

40.      Leonard Hankerson (R) - Redskins
Flashed promise before going on IR. Acquire cheap now for a potential 2012 breakout.

41.      Jacoby Ford - Raiders
Reminds us of Steve Smith (Car). Emerged as a solid playmaker for the Raiders in his rookie year. Potential to breakout in 2011 as a WR2 option.

42.      Sidney Rice - Seahawks
Same story, different year. Beast potential, but Sidney has an inability to stay healthy.

43.      Emmanuel Sanders - Steelers
Hines Ward isn't getting any younger and Mike Wallace is a true deep threat. The Steelers need a possession type WR and Sanders looks to have the Santonio Holmes mold.

44.      Brandon Lloyd - Rams
Skillset is legit, but he's on the wrong side of 30.

45.      Anquan Boldin - Ravens
Questions about his ability to stay healthy make him a dangerous Dynasty Prospect, but he should enjoy a solid 2010-2011 with strong-armed Joe Flacco and the Ravens.

46.      Steve Smith - Panthers
Could Cam make him relevant again?

47.      Austin Collie - Colts
Was becoming Peyton's favorite target. Concussions are a big concern/liability here.

48.      Golden Tate - Seahawks
Dynamic playmaker that hasn't shown to be NFL ready. At all.

49.      Johnny Knox - Bears
Brutal back injury could have his 2012 season in question. Keep an eye on his recovery.

50.      Mike Thomas - Jaguars
Potential slot machine, but upside not much more than that of a Davone Bess.

51.      Riley Cooper - Eagles
On a team full of smallish speed receivers, Cooper could emerge into the big body WR on a pass happy Eagles squad.

52.      Reggie Wayne - Colts
Should have another season or two of Top 12 production, but if you can still sell him with an elite price tag, do it.

53.      Brandon Lafell - Panthers
Nice upside here, but the Panthers situation is brutal.

54.      Vincent Brown - Chargers (R)
Watch out here. A skilled route runner worth reaching on big time.

55.      Davone Bess - Dolphins
True value is in PPR leagues, but he has FLEX appeal in standard leagues. Slot machine.

56.      Steve Smith - Eagles
One of the best PPR threats in the league, until microfracture surgery on his knee. Signed away from the G-Men by the Eagles, his immediate value is a question mark, as is his long term outlook.

57.      Louis Murphy - Raiders
Have patience here, because he has upside. Has the work ethic to possibly climb into the Top-25.

58.      Josh Morgan - 49ers
Long term outlook is still solid, but he must take the next step. Could be productive Robin to Crabtree's Batman.

59.      Steve Breaston - Chiefs
Has a chance to be a solid weekly WR2 option in this diverse offense which will utilize his skills set.

60.      Braylon Edwards - FA
We are never going to see another season like 2007. Edwards is an inconsistent fantasy threat with limited upside in Dynasty leagues.

61.      Robert Meachem - Saints
Has the size and speed combination to be dangerous. He is hurt by the balanced Saints attack.

62.      Early Doucet - Cardinals
Will battle Andre Roberts all year long, but Doucet has the toughness and ability to be a solid Robin to Fitz's Batman. Needs to stay healthy.

63.      Jacoby Jones - Texans
Still waiting for the breakout. This just in: It's not coming.

64.      Plaxico Burress - Jets
A season or two left in him?

65.      Devin Hester - Bears
Will continue to be unreliable, but Hester can still make plays.

66.      Julian Edelman - Patriots
Bright future, but right now he is no more than Wes Welker insurance.

67.      Jerrel Jernigan - Giants (R)
Chess Piece!

68.      Mohammed Massaquoi - Browns
Developmental player with nice upside and intangibles. In need of a QB. Badly.

69.      Brian Hartline - Dolphins
Not elite by any means, but can serve as a legitimate flex option.

70.      Marcus Easley - Bills
Two seasons, both lost on IR. He has flashed the skills to be a force, but will need to stay healthy. Deep stash if you have the roster spot.

71.      David Gettis - Panthers
Looking like a possible starter in Carolina until a torn ACL knocked him out for the year. Will have an uphill battle for playing time next season.

72.      Lee Evans - Ravens
Finally got a trade out of Buffalo. Problem is Evans hasn't been fantasy relevant in years. Could boost value playing with Flacco. Great landing spot.

73.      Tandon Doss - Ravens (R)
Best hands in this year's rookie class. If he earns a shot, he will produce. Chance to outperform Torrey Smith.

74.      Earl Bennett - Bears
Limited upside and with Jay Cutler out for the year, he might fall off the radar.

75.      Blair White - Colts
An undrafted player that will find himself in a starting spot if Reggie Wayne leaves Indy in 2011.
