Week 14 Preview: Playoff Time
It only took 13 weeks but it seems Chris Johnson is back...congratulations to owners who stuck with him through the agonizing 3 months. On the other hand sorry for Matt Forte owners and Bears fans everywhere after losing their starting QB and BEAST RB, it now looks like the Bears will be fighting really hard just to make the playoffs. The Packers are still undefeated and Aaron Rodgers shows no sign of letting up. There is a lot more drama going on this week in the NFL so lets go and take a deeper look into each matchup.

Week 13 Preview: The Stretch Run
Gearing up for the playoffs means Week 13 is a big week for most fantasy owners out there. With a number of injuries still plaguing some of the league's best players there are a lot of hidden gems to look out for this week. Victor Cruz is now a BEAST and a top 5 WR at this point of the season. Jay Cutler is not returning this season but Johnny Knox value has come on strong, being targeted 10 times by backup QB Caleb Hanie and has 7 catches and over 200 yards the last two weeks with a pair of TD's. Week 10 Reactions: Injury Prone
Week 10 is a perfect example of why handcuffing can be crucial. There were more significant injuries than we have seen in any given week in recent memory. From Matt Schaub to Leonard Hankerson, many a fantasy owner came away disappointed from the weekend, even in victory. Bench depth and back-ups are extremely important, especially as we get closer to playoff time. We'll take a look at all of the injuries and the impact they might have on the rest of the season.

Week 10 Matchup Preview
After 9 weeks the Packers are still undefeated with no signs of slowing down, the Colts are winless and are currently in the lead for Andrew Luck. Roy Helu shined in his first start by catching a Redskin record 14 passes last week for over 100 yards, strengthening his Dynasty value in the process. There are no teams on bye this week so we are back into full action with a number of big matchups including Patriots-Jets, Giants-49ers, Saints-Falcons and more. Week 8 Reactions: Dream Teaming
Week 8 did not give us too many Beastly performances, but player values continue to fluctuate and new prospects emerge. We are almost half way through the season and that means it's time to get ready for your fantasy playoff push. Take a look at your roster and identify any areas where you can improve, even if it's just a slight upgrade. On the flipside, if you are rebuilding, it's time to start selling off any aging pieces that could help a playoff team make a push. It's important to think long term in any Dynasty transaction.

Week 7 Thoughts and Preview
What an eventful week, that started With Brandon Marshall pointing out he would get kicked out of Monday Night's showdown with the Jets, but the only showdown that occurred was with coaches Jim Harbaugh and Jim Schwartz after the surprising 49er's beat the Lions in Detroit. Dynasty Prospect Christian Ponder will make his first start Sunday against yes, the Packers, and Carson Palmer is back under center but with the Raiders, which can potentially boost his fantasy value as well as his WR's value down the road. This is a big week for waiver wire pickups with 6 teams on bye: New England, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Giants, Philly and San Francisco. Lets go through some more thoughts on how this week could pan out.

2010 Season Preview
Fantasy owners are salivating. Its been a long offseason, but finally the regular season is upon us. Pre-season games whet our appetite for live action, but there is nothing like Week 1 of a new NFL season. When the Steelers host the Titans on Thursday night, another Fantasy season will be kicking off. BeastOrBust was asked to participate in a 12-Team Experts Mock Draft hosted by Steven Lourie of the Football Fan Spot. This is a 12-Team, 16 Round Mock Draft under the following assumptions: Standard Scoring, Non-PPR and 6 Points for a TD. A nice feature of this mock was for each participant to provide a comment on their draft strategy with each pick. Some odd games in Week 6. Tom Brady throws 5 Touchdowns in the 2nd quarter of a 59-0 routing of the Titans. He likely won your fantasy matchup this week despite how your other players fared. Drew Brees throws 5 Touchdowns against a Giants defense that never showed up in New Orleans. He likely won your game for you also. The Raiders beat an emerging Eagles squad.
