Gearing up for the playoffs means Week 13 is a big week for most fantasy owners out there. Jay Cutler is not returning this season but Johnny Knox value has come on strong, being targeted 10 times by backup QB Caleb Hanie and has 7 catches and over 200 yards the last two weeks with a pair of TD's. Let's take a deeper look into our preview for each team this week.

Week 8: Thoughts and Preview

Injuries are starting to pile up, and already with a thin RB core this year in the NFL, there are a lot of waiver wire hidden gems to be found like RB's Jackie Battle, Michael Bush, Kregg Lumpkin, and Alfonso Smith who might have to step up to fill their teams #1 RB role. Tim Tebow started his season out with a bang leading a comeback in win, and looking like he will secure his role as the starting QB. His ability to score on the run and through the air makes him a possible QB1/2 further into the season and shows nice Dynasty value as well. QB Christian Ponder almost defeated the world champion Packers in his first career start, and RB DeMarco Murray ran wild for 253 yards. There are a lot more to look at in the matchups for Week 8 and with a big group of starts on their bye week let's see who has a chance to boost their Dynasty value.

Week 7 Thoughts and Preview
What an eventful week, that started With Brandon Marshall pointing out he would get kicked out of Monday Night's showdown with the Jets, but the only showdown that occurred was with coaches Jim Harbaugh and Jim Schwartz after the surprising 49er's beat the Lions in Detroit.  Dynasty Prospect Christian Ponder will make his first start Sunday against yes, the Packers, and Carson Palmer is back under center but with the Raiders, which can potentially boost his fantasy value as well as his WR's value down the road. This is a big week for waiver wire pickups with 6 teams on bye: New England, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Giants, Philly and San Francisco. Lets go through some more thoughts on how this week could pan out.

Week 5: Thoughts and Preview

So Calvin "Megatron" Johnson is on pace for 32 TD's and Tom Brady is on pace for over 6,00 passing yards through 4 weeks...and it took until Week 4 for us to welcome back Arian Foster, Frank Gore, and Chris Johnson. The preseason RB1's stepped it up this past week statistically and each played a big part in their teams victories as well. Andre Johnson scared every fantasy owner across the country when he went down without contact, luckily he will only miss a few weeks. That injury opens the door for Jacoby Jones and Kevin Walter to step up and boost their Dynasty value in the coming weeks, although their long term value remains unappealing. Bye weeks are coming in to play so players like Eric Decker, Victor Cruz, Stevan Ridley, and more all present good value this upcoming week as waiver wire pickups.  Lets check out some other thoughts for each team for this week's rundown.

Week 4: Thoughts and Preview

Three weeks in and only the Bills and Lions can keep up with the defending champions Packers with a 3-0 record. The only team or player that has made a bigger surprise splash than those two teams is Cam Newton who came back to earth this past week with a mediocre passing game but did manage to record his first win. Kenny Britt's season is now over with a torn ACL and MCL, and crushes Dynasty owners bad since Britt was easily playing like a Top 5 WR. Week 4 is rapidly approaching, let's run through some thoughts for each team.

Week 3: Thoughts and Preview
It is quite clear Peyton Manning is not coming back this season, and more injuries seem to be mounting up. Jamaal Charles just broke the hearts of many owners in any Redraft or Dynasty league, and with injuries to Michael Vick, Miles Austin, and Aaron Hernandez there is a lot to ponder about this upcoming week.  In particular, which players will step up in place of the injured.  A couple other parting shots from Week 2 and some thoughts heading into Week 3:

Fantasy Value: Over/Under
A player's fantasy value can change in an instant. Two years ago, undrafted rookie Arian Foster was only relevant in Dynasty leagues, and even there he was more of a flier because of his solid collegiate resume at Tennessee. Last season after Ben Tate's injury, he rose to a mid-round sleeper. By October, he had established himself as one of the premier running backs in the league on his way to a top fantasy finish. In this article, we'll take a look at what you can expect from a number of over and undervalued fantasy players this season and in the future.

2010 Trade Deadline: Dynasty Buy / Sell
Whether you are a contender or a rebuilding team in a Dynasty league, you always need to keep next season in mind. Yes, Jonathan Stewart is underwhelming thus far and probably won't re-enter your starting lineup for the rest of the season. But at 23 years old and on the verge of becoming a major Beast, can you afford to give him up for a piece that might help you in 2010? That is a question you have to weigh as the Trade Deadline approaches. In this article, we are going to take a look at some Dynasty Buys that you should look to acquire at a discounted rate and some Dynasty Sells that you should look to unload immediately for optimum value. Your position in league standings will affect what you are able to buy and sell, but don't forget about the future while you make a run at a 2010 championship.

Beast vs. Bust - Kyle Orton
Kyle Orton is putting up serious fantasy numbers this season which is making fantasy owners everywhere take notice. For redrafters, it is pretty cut and dry. He is going to continue to be a QB1 this season because of the system he is playing in. Start him every week with confidence because he is likely to maintain it throughout the season. For Dynasty owners, though, the long term question marks are still there...Is Kyle Orton a true fantasy Beast?

Brandon Lloyd - Top 5 Talent - Week 5 Recap
A whole lot is going on this Fantasy season, and with the league cracking down on concussions, we are seeing elite players like Jay Cutler and potnetially Aaron Rodgers missing time.  When QB's are held out all skill position players are effected...or are they.  Yes Todd Collins and his 32 passing yards and 4 INT's vs. the  Panthers clearly hurt the Bears WR's, Matt Forte took his ground game to another level.  Trends are happening, and it is time to think about taking advantage.
