The dog-days of summer are here and legitimate offseason fantasy football news has slowed to a trickle.  This time of year, the BeastOrBust.com team finds ourselves still talking plenty of Dynasty Football as we stand around the grill and endulge in grilled hot dog after grilled hot dog - that is why they call it the dog days of summer after all.  So with little but speculation - and an eye on the future, we offer a few of our Offseason Talking Points.  Check back as we will roll out a few more of these articles as we approach the 2010 season.

You do. Dynasty owners love potential and each year in their rookie drafts, they are looking for the next big thing. After all of the consensus top prospects are selected, a Dynasty rookie draft becomes wide open. Alot of a prospects appeal is based on what kind of upside they bring to the table, especially in the later rounds. Taking a chance on a player like this could pay off tremendously if he develops as expected and maximizes his potential. They usually come with obvious risks and investing in them heavily could lead to disappointment down the road. Nature of the Beast: Week 10 Review
Week 10 hit some owners hard with injuries. We saw 3 of the top 10 running backs in fantasy football go down on Sunday, among others. 2009 AFC Projections

2009 NFL Draft Review
The addition of young talent through the NFL Draft and subsequent free agent signing period has undoubtedly changed the face of every franchise in the NFL.
