Dynasty Rankings Update: RB
The top of the running back mountain is in flux. Two seasons ago it was Chris Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Maurice Jones-Drew and then everyone else. In 2010, Arian Foster crashed the party and has continued to march up the list this season, stopping at the top. He has some serious competition from LeSean McCoy and Ray Rice, as well as a potential bounceback in CJ and a potential breakout in Ryan Mathews. Let's take a look at the movement in our rankings as we get ready for the offseason.

Week 15 Preview: Pressure Cooker
It's time to make some big decisions in fantasy leagues everywhere. A lot of nice matchups for RB's this week with something to prove. Kevin Smith returns to the Lions for a tasty matchup with the Raiders, and Beanie Wells has a great matchup with the Browns. Gearing up for the playoffs means Week 13 is a big week for most fantasy owners out there. With a number of injuries still plaguing some of the league's best players there are a lot of hidden gems to look out for this week. Victor Cruz is now a BEAST and a top 5 WR at this point of the season. Jay Cutler is not returning this season but Johnny Knox value has come on strong, being targeted 10 times by backup QB Caleb Hanie and has 7 catches and over 200 yards the last two weeks with a pair of TD's. Week 7 Thoughts and Preview
What an eventful week, that started With Brandon Marshall pointing out he would get kicked out of Monday Night's showdown with the Jets, but the only showdown that occurred was with coaches Jim Harbaugh and Jim Schwartz after the surprising 49er's beat the Lions in Detroit. Dynasty Prospect Christian Ponder will make his first start Sunday against yes, the Packers, and Carson Palmer is back under center but with the Raiders, which can potentially boost his fantasy value as well as his WR's value down the road. This is a big week for waiver wire pickups with 6 teams on bye: New England, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Giants, Philly and San Francisco. Lets go through some more thoughts on how this week could pan out.

It is already Week 6 in the NFL season and the "Dream Team" is 1-4 and the Colts are still winless. Now both teams have bright spots, with the Colts it seems Curtis Painter has found a favorite target in Pierre Garcon. 2008 RB Class: The Best Ever?
Two and a half years ago, Arkansas junior Darren McFadden was the lead RB prospect heading into the NFL Draft, ahead of other potential Beasts such as Jonathan Stewart, Chris Johnson and Felix Jones. Not only was this RB Class rich with top end prospects, but it was deep with talent. We are going to take a look back at this dynamic class, examining each of the prospects, their current value and future Dynasty upside. In a year or two, it would not be a surprise if 5 or more of these guys was in the Top 10 in scoring at the position, a remarkable feat for a single draft class.

Another week, another exciting matchup for your fantasy football team. We are nearing the regular season halfway point in many leagues and most teams are still jockeying for position, much like they are in the NFL. Your fantasy team may resemble the Saints at the moment...high powered offense that seems to be getting tripped up on matchups they should win, leading to questions and overall panic. Some of your teams are performing like the Chiefs...a young, talented group that is overachieving and looking well on your way to a playoff spot. BeastOrBust was asked to participate in a 12-Team Experts Mock Draft hosted by Steven Lourie of the Football Fan Spot. This is a 12-Team, 16 Round Mock Draft under the following assumptions: Standard Scoring, Non-PPR and 6 Points for a TD. A nice feature of this mock was for each participant to provide a comment on their draft strategy with each pick. 2009 Season Preview
Fantasy owners are salivating. Its been a long offseason, but finally the regular season is upon us. Pre-season games whet our appetite for live action, but there is nothing like Week 1 of a new NFL season. When the Steelers host the Titans on Thursday night, another Fantasy season will be kicking off. A Dynasty owners work is never done, with rosters and lineups constantly being tweaked and changed all season long.
