2011 NFL Scouting Combine - Running Backs
The 2011 Draft Class may be lacking in truly elite Running Back prospects, but it is certainily deep and that means more players to keep an eye on. With NFL teams stockpiling at least 3 and sometimes 4 talented backs, there is always potential to shine. Elite bellcow backs still go at the beginning of Dynasty drafts, but Day 3 and even undrafted free agents are worth monitoring because of injuries and opportunity within a committee. 2010 NFL Rookie Running Back Profiles
The running back is a former cornerstone to any championship Dynasty football team. In the current version of the NFL, though, each team seemingly needs at least 2, if not 3 productive RB's on their roster. Gone are the days of every NFL team feeding one RB the ball 25 times a game every game. RB's are now asked to be productive while only touching the ball 10-15 times a game. The 2010 Draft Class is not filled with many RB's that will blow you away with their franchise player ability. Instead, though, you'll find numerous prospects that could very well be fantasy factors as part of commitees and time shares.
