2010 Week 1 - Top 50 WR

Back to Rankings   -   Print

1.      Andre Johnson - Texans
home vs. Colts: The best receiver in football will get his week 1.

2.      Randy Moss - Patriots
home vs. Bengals: Moss should stand out in a high scoring game with two powerful offenses.

3.      Miles Austin - Cowboys
@ Redskins: Austin was the surprise of the fantasy season last year. This year there will be plenty of production just none of the surprise. Except a big week 1 kicking off a big 2010.

4.      Brandon Marshall - Dolphins
@ Bills: Great match up for Marshal's first game as Dolphin.

5.      Calvin Johnson - Lions
@ Bears: The growth of Matthew Stafford will make life easier for Calvin this season. He should put up 100 yards and a score week 1 against the Bears.

6.      Larry Fitzgerald - Cardinals
@ Rams: The knee is a concern but the match-up is strong. Fitzgerald owners should still get there moneys worth week 1.

7.      DeSean Jackson - Eagles
home vs. Packers: Green Bay gives up a lot of points. This bodes well for the Eagles offense and Jackson.

8.      Roddy White - Falcons
@ Steelers: White is playing a good defense week 1 but he has made the turn as a solid #1 fantasy receiver.

9.      Reggie Wayne - Colts
@ Texans: Always solid production from Wayne, expect nothing different against the Texans.

10.      Greg Jennings - Packers
@ Eagles: Jennings will put up solid numbers in an offensively explosive game.

11.      Steve Smith - Panthers
@ Giants: Should have a solid game week 1.

12.      Marques Colston - Saints
home vs. Vikings (Thursday): Colston will be a solid start Thursday night. The saints always put up points.

13.      Michael Crabtree - 49ers
@ Seahawks: Great Match up for Crabtree in Week 1, he will put up WR1 numbers.

14.      Chad Ochocinco - Bengals
@ Patriots: The Pats have given up a ton of points in the pre season. Ochocinco will have a very productive Sunday.

15.      Wes Welker - Patriots
home vs. Bengals: Against all odds Welker will be playing week 1. This means one thing: plenty of catches.

16.      Dwayne Bowe - Chiefs
home vs. Chargers (MNF): Look for Bowe to have a strong game Monday night.

17.      Steve Smith - Giants
home vs. Panthers: If he is your second receiver your looking great. Regardless he should put up some good numbers.

18.      Anquan Boldin - Ravens
@ Jets (MNF): A tough match up for Boldin's first game as a Raven. The numbers will be at a WR2 level at best.

19.      Jeremy Maclin- Eagles
home vs. Eagles: Maclin will get of to a great start. Strong WR2.

20.      Mike Sims-Walker - Jags
home vs. Broncos: It's never easy going against Champ Baily. Yet Sims-Walker should still have a productive day.

21.      Pierre Garcon - Colts
@ Texans: Will be one of the best WR2 starts of the week.

22.      Hines Ward - Steelers
home vs. Falcons: Value goes down a little without Roethlisberger, but a solid WR2 start.

23.      Donald Driver - Packers
@ Eagles: Should get plenty of looks in this game.

24.      Percy Harvin - Vikings
@ Saints (Thursday): When he is healthy he is productive. The health will be a concern week 1.

25.      Steve Breaston - Cardinals
@ Rams: Great match up here. Breaston should have a strong game.

26.      Robert Meachem - Saints
home vs. Vikings (Thursday): Good Flex start.

27.      Hakeem Nicks - Giants
home vs. Panthers: Could be a breakout year for Nicks, will produce strong numbers week 1.

28.      Devin Aromashodu-Bears
home vs. Bears: Will get off to a good start. The numbers should be in the WR2 range.

29.      Chaz Schilens-Raiders
@ Titans- Jason Campbell will look for Chaz in his first game as a Raider.

30.      Mike Wallace - Steelers
home vs. Falcons: He is a big target, but hes going to need a TD to have a good week.

31.      Mohamed Massaquoi-Browns
@ Bucs: Could be the Number 1 target against a poor defense.

32.      Terrell Owens - Bengals
@ Patriots: First game as a Bengal could be productive in a WR3 or flex role.

33.      Santana Moss - Redskins
home vs. Cowboys: Moss is very hit or miss, look for more of a miss this week.

34.      Kenny Britt - Titans
home vs. Raiders: Could get a score, not a bad flex play.

35.      Dez Bryant-Cowboys
@ Redskins: The freaky talented rookie will have a strong year, but coming of the heels of an injury don't except a huge game week 1.

36.      Malcom Floyd-Chargers
@ Chiefs (MNF): Will get more targets with the suspension of Vincent Jackson.

37.      Johnny Knox - Bears
home vs. Lions: Should get more looks this year. Starting with a strong week 1 match up.

38.      Bernard Berrian - Vikings
@ Saints(Thursday): With Sidney Rice out Berrian should get more targets. Just don't except a lot week 1 against a tough Saints Defense.

39.      Nate Burleson-Lions
@ Bears: Playing on the other side of Calvin Johnson will suit Burleson nicely. If you start 3 WR's he might be worth a start.

40.      Mike Williams-Bucs
home vs. Browns: This rookie had a great pre-season and gets fortunate with the match up in week 1. Williams could be a big surprise during this years fantasy campaign.

41.      Austin Collie - Colts
@ Texans: There is always enough catches and yards to be had when Peyton Manning is under center.

42.      Derrick Mason - Ravens
@ Jets (MNF): Quietly productive, but this match up isn't strong.

43.      Braylon Edwards - Jets
home vs. Ravens (MNF): Don't like the match up or the drops.

44.      Kevin Walter - Texans
home vs. Colts: Should get some good looks, just don't know how productive they will be.

45.      Eddie Royal- Broncos
@ Jaguars: Good match up but nothing more than a flex or WR3.

46.      Golden Tate-Seahawks
home vs. 49ers: With Tj Houshmandzadeh being cut, Tate is going to get a lot of looks his rookie year. In deep leagues he might be worth a start.

47.      Mario Manningham - Giants
home vs. Panthers: Always a chance he could go off.

48.      Lee Evans - Bills
home vs. Dolphins: Always a chance he gets 6 catches for 140 yards and 2 TD's. However there is a better chance he gets 1 catch for 11 yards.

49.      Devery Henderson - Saints
home vs. Vikings (Thursday): Drew Brees spreads the ball around.

50.      Marty Gilyard-Rams
home vs. Cardinals: The crushing loss of Donnie Avery opens the door for Gilyard. If your in a deep league Gilyard will be interesting. Sam Bradford has to throw the ball to someone.
