Week 13 Reactions: Cam-tastic
Heading into the season's last quarter, there is still plenty of drama to play itself out, but in the NFL and in fantasy. We have teams battling for the playoffs and others jockeying for draft pick positioning. Sucking for Luck is not just for the Colts, Dynasty owners want a piece of the hype as well. Fantasy playoffs are starting this week in many leagues, making this a nail biting weekend. Stick with your Beasts, they got you where you are, but don't be afraid to roll the dice on a FLEX spot. Before we look ahead, let's look back on Week 13 action.

Aaron Rodgers continues his remarkable season.

Cam Newton just ran through the rookie wall, showing no signs of slowing down. Outside of Rodgers, you can make a case for Cam being the most coveted Dynasty QB.

Christian Ponder threw a game-costing INT Sunday, but otherwise looked very strong against a solid Broncos D. He has the look of a QB2 in Dynasty leagues.

TJ Yates
was respectable in his first NFL start. An intriguing long term prospect, Yates will likely return to holding a clipboard in 2012, but is gaining valuable experience right now. With Schaub's injury history, he is one to own.

Philip Rivers continues to tease owners, picking apart the Jaguars defense. It's hard to trust him confidently as a QB1 because he has been so up and down, but he has a full compliment of weapons and could be poised for a strong finish.

Matt Forte took a hard hit in the 1st quarter and did not return. He has a sprained MCL, which is good news considering it could have been much worse. He will be back in 2-4 weeks, so he might still be able to help you if you have late playoffs. Marion Barber will take over and makes a decent option if you are in a bind, just don't expect much.

Chris Johnson has his burst back. To those that remained patient, you'll get your payoff in the season's last quarter. That is, just as long you were able to stay in contention while he was giving you single digit performances earlier this year.

Ray Rice went off on Sunday with over 200 yards rushing and a TD. He has some very tasty matchups to finish the fantasy season.

Shonn Greene
scored 3 TD's last week, rushing for 88 yards. He's no more than a long term RB3, getting production by volume, not because of skillset.

Another production by volume RB, Beanie Wells, followed up his huge Week 12 with a solid outing against Dallas. As long as he keeps getting fed the ball 20 times a game, he's a solid RB2.

Marshawn Lynch
has been on a tear and showed off vintage Beast Mode rushing against the Eagles last week. Consider him an RB2 for the rest of the season, but his Dynasty future is still clouded by a mediocre career yards per carry average. Still, at just 25 years old, he could have a nice rebirth.

Malcom Floyd returned with a solid performance and he relegated Vincent Brown to backup duty. Although Brown scored a TD, he's unreliable moving forward. Still a nice Dynasty prospect for sure, playing bigger than his size and showing toughness in traffic, great hands and ball skills.

Cecil Shorts only caught one pass Monday night, but it was a nice way to get your first NFL TD. He and newly signed Taylor Price should get a chance to work more with Blaine Gabbert in the coming weeks.

It seems like we say this every week, but Rob Gronkowski is just a TD monster. His next receiving TD breaks the NFL record for most in a season. Look out for our Gronk vs. Jimmy Graham Beast vs. Bust article coming soon.
