Week 15 Preview: Pressure Cooker
It's time to make some big decisions in fantasy leagues everywhere. A lot of nice matchups for RB's this week with something to prove. Kevin Smith returns to the Lions for a tasty matchup with the Raiders, and Beanie Wells has a great matchup with the Browns. There is still more hidden gems and injuries to get through so let's visit all the week's matchups.

Week 14 Preview: Playoff Time
It only took 13 weeks but it seems Chris Johnson is back...congratulations to owners who stuck with him through the agonizing 3 months. On the other hand sorry for Matt Forte owners and Bears fans everywhere after losing their starting QB and BEAST RB, it now looks like the Bears will be fighting really hard just to make the playoffs. The Packers are still undefeated and Aaron Rodgers shows no sign of letting up. There is a lot more drama going on this week in the NFL so lets go and take a deeper look into each matchup.

Week 13 Preview: The Stretch Run
Gearing up for the playoffs means Week 13 is a big week for most fantasy owners out there. With a number of injuries still plaguing some of the league's best players there are a lot of hidden gems to look out for this week. Victor Cruz is now a BEAST and a top 5 WR at this point of the season. Jay Cutler is not returning this season but Johnny Knox value has come on strong, being targeted 10 times by backup QB Caleb Hanie and has 7 catches and over 200 yards the last two weeks with a pair of TD's. Week 10 Matchup Preview
After 9 weeks the Packers are still undefeated with no signs of slowing down, the Colts are winless and are currently in the lead for Andrew Luck. Roy Helu shined in his first start by catching a Redskin record 14 passes last week for over 100 yards, strengthening his Dynasty value in the process. There are no teams on bye this week so we are back into full action with a number of big matchups including Patriots-Jets, Giants-49ers, Saints-Falcons and more. Let's get into the rest of the matchups as Fantasy playoffs are right around the corner.

Week 7 Thoughts and Preview
What an eventful week, that started With Brandon Marshall pointing out he would get kicked out of Monday Night's showdown with the Jets, but the only showdown that occurred was with coaches Jim Harbaugh and Jim Schwartz after the surprising 49er's beat the Lions in Detroit. Dynasty Prospect Christian Ponder will make his first start Sunday against yes, the Packers, and Carson Palmer is back under center but with the Raiders, which can potentially boost his fantasy value as well as his WR's value down the road. This is a big week for waiver wire pickups with 6 teams on bye: New England, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Giants, Philly and San Francisco. Lets go through some more thoughts on how this week could pan out.

It is already Week 6 in the NFL season and the "Dream Team" is 1-4 and the Colts are still winless. Now both teams have bright spots, with the Colts it seems Curtis Painter has found a favorite target in Pierre Garcon. BeastOrBust was asked to participate in a 12-Team Experts Mock Draft hosted by Steven Lourie of the Football Fan Spot. This is a 12-Team, 16 Round Mock Draft under the following assumptions: Standard Scoring, Non-PPR and 6 Points for a TD. A nice feature of this mock was for each participant to provide a comment on their draft strategy with each pick. Dynasty Hype
Everywhere you look there is fantasy football information...on the interweb, on the radio, on TV...it's literally is everywhere you turn. With that comes a certain amount of fantasy hype - "excessive publicity and the ensuing commotion". We all have gotten gassed up at one time or another over something a beat writer or blogger said about one of our players, it's only natural. It's all about the hype. That can be a good or a bad thing when it comes to your Dynasty team, though, you just have to know how to sift through the information and look at the situation with a long term view in mind.
In each Dynasty Hype article, we'll take a look at a handful of players that are receiving either extreme positive or negative hype and look at it from a Dynasty point of view. It is important in a Dynasty league to always be thinking of players value and situation, because they fluctuate constantly. As Flava Flav said, "Don't believe the hype" (well, most of the time anyway).

Michael Crabtree vs. Dez Bryant
The perceived Dynasty Value of two young potential Beast wideouts - Michael Crabtree and Dez Bryant - is very close. While they are both extremely talented players on high powered offenses, they are very different fantasy prospects. Crabtree is already a valuable Dynasty commodity on the verge of a breakout. Some odd games in Week 6. Tom Brady throws 5 Touchdowns in the 2nd quarter of a 59-0 routing of the Titans. He likely won your fantasy matchup this week despite how your other players fared. Drew Brees throws 5 Touchdowns against a Giants defense that never showed up in New Orleans. He likely won your game for you also. The Raiders beat an emerging Eagles squad. Observations from Giants Camp 2009
Giants Training Camp opened this week in Albany New York. I had an opportunity to watch the morning and afternoon sessions live from the University of Albany campus. While the opening days of training camp provide very little information into how fantasy players will perform in the regular season, there are plenty of trends that develop that can provide some insight how a team will plan to utilize their players this upcoming season. Anquan Boldin
Anquan Boldin plays with a reckless abandon and fearlessness that makes him one of the best wide receiver talents in the NFL...and also makes him very much prone to injuries. Boldin has been a stud just about every one of his six seasons, just as long as he could keep himself on the field. Boldin will be 29 years old in October and his Dynasty value is on the fence. On one hand, you have a stud WR on a high-powered pass first offense. On the other, you have an injury prone player on a team where he isn't the WR1 and his QB is 38 years old. What is a dynasty owner to do?
