Welcome to BeastOrBust.com.  We are a Fantasy Football Website devoted entirely to the strategy of Dynasty.

With NFL Training Camps upon us, we are working on fresh content that will be hitting the site soon. Look for our new article, Dynasty Hype, to premiere this week along with another Strategy Session. You will also find all of our NFL Draft coverage archived for your convenience under the Draft tab.

The dog-days of summer are here and legitimate offseason fantasy football news has slowed to a trickle.  This time of year, the BeastOrBust.com team finds ourselves still talking plenty of Dynasty Football as we stand around the grill and endulge in grilled hot dog after grilled hot dog - that is why they call it the dog days of summer after all.  So with little but speculation - and an eye on the future, we offer a few of our Offseason Talking Points.  Check back as we will roll out a few more of these articles as we approach the 2010 season.

The perceived Dynasty Value of two young potential Beast wideouts - Michael Crabtree and Dez Bryant - is very close.  While they are both extremely talented players on high powered offenses, they are very different fantasy prospects.  Crabtree is already a valuable Dynasty commodity on the verge of a breakout.  Dez is firmly situated as a Top-5 Dynasty Rookie Draft pick and is said to have as high an upside as any WR in the league.  2009's must have rookie WR goes head to head versus this year's...who is the better Dynasty prospect?

The NFL Tight End is evolving.  As teams spread the ball out, a TE who can serve as a legitimate receiving option is very important.  Most of the highest rated prospects will fall in the 6'5 - 250 lb range with superior athleticism.  Traditional blocking ability is less of a barometer for a players future success (especially in the fantasy world), however it can be a decent indicator of how quickly they can make the transition and thus see game action.  Like the WR position, there is usually a year or two before TE's can be productive. The 2010 Draft class  has three prospects capable of developing into Top 5 options and a handful more that could be starters in deep fantasy leagues. When all is said and done, this could be a very productive fantasy TE class.

This year's WR class is stacked with big-body prospects.  With teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks (to name a few) looking for exactly such a skill set, expect to see some legit talent falling into ideal fantasy situations.  Don't sleep on some of the lesser known prospects of this WR group as some of the highest upside talent may not emerge for another 2-3 seasons.  Read on as we highlight some of our most exciting WR prospects of the 2010 NFL Draft class.  Enjoy.

There are upwards of 10 NFL teams seeking out their future franchise QB. Many Dynasty league owners are doing the same. If you own an older Beast like Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, you can afford to draft a youngster and sit him for a few seasons as he learns the ropes. The instant returns of Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Matt Stafford and to some extent Mark Sanchez has owners anxious for a young Dynasty cornerstone to call their own. This draft class, though quickly dismissed as pedestrian, is not without its long term potential. The patience of Dynasty owners is going to be tested because most of these QB's are not ready for NFL game action in 2010.

The running back is a former cornerstone to any championship Dynasty football team. In the current version of the NFL, though, each team seemingly needs at least 2, if not 3 productive RB's on their roster. Gone are the days of every NFL team feeding one RB the ball 25 times a game every game. RB's are now asked to be productive while only touching the ball 10-15 times a game. The 2010 Draft Class is not filled with many RB's that will blow you away with their franchise player ability. Instead, though, you'll find numerous prospects that could very well be fantasy factors as part of commitees and time shares. Let's take a look at some of the top Dynasty prospects at the RB position.
